I did this track as an instrumental back in the early 90s, I thought it was good then, but with Howards added musical and vocal talent, this track has really come to life.

WAW!!! AMAZING!!!
So much talent here it is just shocking!!!
Perfect arrangement in every sense of the word - vocals are just so Justin Haywood... AWESOME!
An the drums/orchestral arrangement is just so tight an flavour heaven!
The flute lead is just icing on the cake...
Also must mention the backing choir - lovely!!!
I am blown-away with how quickly you have both pulled this out the bag...
SUPERB ALL THE WAY!!!

Nice, love the dynamic range, the soft parts are subtle and building up to huge climactic crescendos. Great instrumentation, nice vocals on what is a technically difficult song to sing, great drum sounds as always.

just so much beauty here to comment on i'm left speehless  so much spot on intramentation......
2nd listen now everything just fits soooooooo well the background vocal harmonies are just AMAZING!!!!
drums as always are perfect balence of finess and power as are your vocals howard
and mike the orchestral arrangement is just to die for man

Whoa, what a full rich ambiance. The vocals are smooth and capture the flavor of this tune perfectly. Beautiful mix and and orchestration. I'm quite impressed. The drums are spot on and sound wonderful. The reverb on the snare just before the flute solo was awesome.

Niiiiiiiice! I'm floating in space listening to this cover. The orchestration is ace and the vocals by Howard are top notch! Are those real drums? They sound acoustic to me. That middle interlude with the flute is well arranged too. I must say that Multimike and NoSmoking, you two make a great collaboration team. How could I not listen to this Moody Blues cover?

wow, it's a very successful cover. the orchestration is top-notch, really good, drums are of really good quality, both music and production wise, but the vocals are the best. howard, your vocals are really so sweet and caressing, right on, man! i loved the backing choir. the flute interlude in the middle was awesome, too. i liked the few bluesy notes the flute touches there! great collab from both of you!

Mike's orchestration is always perfect... if I have one suggestion for this, it would be to make the flute solo a tiny bit louder, because I always thought it was on of the most beautiful musical passages I ever had the pleasure of hearing. But that's just my taste, I think. The care you take shows, Mike, and I wish I had your ear... and your talent!
Now, that other guy? I agree-- Howard's voice works oh so well with this, just the right sad tinge to it, and you even hit all those notes! Very well done!
So, another great collab to add to my rapidly growing collection, and each one-- like this one-- is a gem that I treasure. Thank you both!

Mike you know my thoughts on this when you covered this track all those years ago BEAUTIFUL

Truly outstanding!! Especially when you consider the status of the original performers and the production teams/studios involved in the original work. You guys have captured all the qualities of the original and surpassed them - an amazing achievement on every level. Wonderful instrumentation and marvelous drums.
