It's great to have you both back again, and this is a special one, isn't it? With Joyce's wonderful lyrics, Ruth's lovely vocals (you will not be able to hide from us ever again, lovely lady!), and Mike's simply superb music and production-- the result is a sweethappysad mixture-- just like LIFE! I seldom do it, but Bowing Down to this one and to all of you who made it happen. Cloud 9

Groovin

Nice smooth sound in the intro.
Vocals are like a sultry liquid....just oozing awesomeness!
The organ and guitar really stand out wonderfully.
I'm really enjoying the chord changes and segues.
This really has a subtle eerie mood that I could easily see fitting snugly in either a David Lynch or Tarrantino flick.

Wonderful track guys.

The vocal is so smooth and jazzy and paired with the modernistic hip stylings of the keyboards provides a very interesting musical trip, thanks for the music.

In more ways than one, this occupies that real estate somewhere between Yes and Kansas.
I guess I could said "Asia" instead of "Yes"...the bands have pretty similar vibes, but that could've gotten confusing.
Ooh, cool! It just did one of those thingies where the last note of a vocal line is almost exactly the same as the initial note of the following guitar solo...so close that's it's tough to tell upon first listen where one ends and the other begins. I LOVE when that happens!
I expected this to "work" on all levels when I saw the line-up, and I'm pleased as punch to get just that...even more so, because it works in ways I didn't necessarily expect. Niiiiice.
